Anne Coulter Calls Jews Imperfect Christians ...

Ah yes. Anne Coulter. To know her is to love to hate her. By now everyone reading this should know who Anne Coulter is, but let's have a quick refresher. Anne Coulter is a conservative columnist endeared by right-wing christian conservatives for her fiery devotion to the morals and principals that form the foundation of the far right. To the rest of us, she is the rabid propogandist hell bent on Crypto-fascism who makes her living criticizing the 9/11 widows for being self absorbed grief-arrazis who enjoyed their husbands' deaths. She's also the happy-go-lucky commentator who uses such even-handed tactics as stating that her "only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building."

Well, the soulless heap is at it again. In an interview with CNBC's Donny Deutch, Coulter said that the world would be better if it was made up entirely of Christians. Deutsch, who is Jewish, asked Coulter if we should just throw away Judaism and all become Christians, to which she responded, "Yeah. Well, it's a lot easier. It's kind of a fast track."

I've always been of the theory that talk-show pundits (like Coulter and Limbaugh and Franken) don't really believe 90% of what they say--that it's half just doing it to be controversial for attention to drum up ratings and half just being the type of person who needs to be a contrarian and likes the negative attention.

With Coulter, though, there's just something in her vacant, glassy eyes (rimmed with the car-tire halo of stripper mascara) that sometimes makes me think that she really buys into the bullshit she's spewing.
